They tried to tell her story for her.
Crossed out what made them uncomfortable. Covered what didn’t fit. Edited the complicated parts until only the version they could understand remained.
But a woman is not the pieces other people choose to see.
Behind every mark, every label, every assumption, there is a whole life still speaking.
Some things may be hidden.
Some things may never be explained.
She is not unfinished.
She is REDACTED.
