You remember the curve in the road. The little cabins tucked into the hills. The place everyone stopped for something cold to drink. The chairs pulled outside when the day finally cooled.
You remember how the mountains looked when the sun started going down—and how, for a little while, nobody seemed to be in a hurry to be anywhere else.
Years later, someone mentions that place and you smile before they’ve even finished the sentence.
A winding road, scattered cabins, familiar gathering places, and a fading mountain sun come together in a landscape shaped as much by memory as by place. The work reflects on those ordinary destinations that quietly become part of us—the places we recognize not because we remember every detail, but because we remember how it felt to be there.
